The pixyit story

Like many parents, we found ourselves faced with a delightful dilemma: our children's boundless creativity was producing countless artful treasures, and our homes were becoming impromptu art galleries. Though we dutifully stored their precious artwork in containers, these treasures often remained hidden, rarely seeing the light of day.

The turning point came when Yang's son, Zachary, created a drawing that was simply too special for storage. We knew it deserved to be celebrated, not tucked away. A T-shirt seemed like the perfect canvas to showcase the artwork, but what followed was hours of frustrating attempts to edit, resize, and navigate complex printing platforms. That's when we had our lightbulb moment: "Why isn't there an easier way to do this?"

This simple question led to the birth of pixyit — a platform that transforms how families celebrate their children's creativity. We are work-from-home moms based in Brooklyn, NY, and we've poured our hearts into creating a seamless way to digitize, showcase, and transform young artists' work into unique, custom-made products. From T-shirts to crochet plushies and 3D-printed sculptures, each piece tells a story and preserves a precious memory.
