The pixyit story
From overflowing art bins to inspiring innovation
Hi, I'm Yang, the founder of pixyit.
This is the best family photo I could find, and yes, it’s a little photoshopped.
I wanted to include our two non human kids: Ninja, our beloved dog who recently passed but will always stay in our hearts, and Axol, our endlessly cheerful axolotl. They’re both part of our family story and, in their own way, part of the pixyit story too.

I started pixyit in Brooklyn, NYC, with a simple belief: kids’ creativity deserves to be seen, celebrated, and shared. What began as a small idea to turn my children’s artwork into keepsakes has grown into a joyful movement with real impact.
At pixyit, we showcase kids’ artwork on everyday products, giving young artists a platform to shine. Each order gives them a small royalty, teaching the value of their ideas and the joy of giving back. We also donate to nonprofit partners that support children in need, creating a flywheel of creativity, confidence, and community good.
pixyit is more than a store. It’s a place where creativity is valued, families feel connected, and young artists see their ideas make a real difference.
